Closing 2024 and a Bold New Beginning for 2025

As 2024 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on what a transformational year it’s been for the podcast, the business, and the community we’re building together.

2024: A Year of Growth and Clarity
This year wasn’t without its challenges.

But through the ups and downs, one truth became clear: scaling wealth is more than just investments.

It’s about managing your portfolio as a business.

When Tech Equity and Money Talk started, the goal was simple—help technology professionals understand and manage equity compensation as a wealth-building strategy.

Over time, the mission evolved as I recognized the need for even more clarity, focus, and impact.

Here’s a look at some of the biggest milestones from this past year:

1. Evolved the podcast from Tech Careers and Money Talk to Tech Equity and Money Talk – This shift allowed us to concentrate on the intersection of equity compensation and wealth management, setting the stage for deeper, more focused conversations.

2. Developed the WealthOps framework – A systematic approach to running your portfolio like a business, this became the cornerstone of our teaching.

3. Expanded the audience – The podcast reached nearly 4,600 YouTube subscribers and grew its weekly downloads significantly, thanks to your engagement.

4. Helped clients negotiate better equity packages – Through coaching and workshops, we saw tech professionals unlock 20-30% more value in their equity compensation.

5. Ran small webinars on the five secrets of the ultra-wealthy – Limited in size but packed with insights, these sessions inspired incredible feedback and set the groundwork for deeper community engagement.

6. Published weekly, without fail – Whether through the podcast or newsletter, delivering value every week has been an ongoing commitment.

The Biggest Lesson of 2024

This year taught me that clarity builds confidence, and confidence builds commitment.

But even with all we’ve accomplished, I know we can do better.

I want to serve you more deeply and help you transition from being a money-maker to a money manager.

Looking Ahead: 2025 Brings a Bold Pivot

To truly serve you, I’m making a significant shift.

Starting in 2025, Tech Equity and Money Talk will transition to a new brand: Managing Tech Millions.

This pivot focuses entirely on helping technology professionals manage their wealth as a scaling business.

It’s a move that allows us to answer the pressing question: How do I transform my portfolio into a generational asset that provides income and growth for decades?

Here’s what’s changing:

• The Podcast and Newsletter: Both will take on the new name, Managing Tech Millions, and align under a single brand for a seamless experience.

• Deep Dives into WealthOps: I’ll walk you through my own journey managing a multiple seven-figure portfolio, sharing every detail of the process—from wins to challenges.

• The WealthOps Collective: Launching as an application-only community, this group will dive deep into the frameworks and systems that make WealthOps successful. Members will see real-time portfolio management and learn alongside me.

• Free Masterclasses: Throughout the year, I’ll host educational sessions to give away actionable insights and help you take the next step toward financial independence.

Why This Change?
This pivot isn’t easy—leaving behind something good rarely is. 

But by narrowing our focus, I believe we can help more of you achieve financial independence faster.

It’s a chance to take everything I’ve learned from my journey and pass it on to you in a way that’s clear, actionable, and deeply impactful.
